Open Volunteer Positions

The Parent Teacher Organization is a non-profit group of parents, teachers & staff dedicated to enhancing and supporting the educational experience at South Forsyth Middle School, developing a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and improving the environment at South Forsyth Middle School through volunteer and financial support.

All parents of currently enrolled students, teachers & staff are members of the PTO.  There is no membership fee required to participate!

The PTO’s “RISE” fundraiser program offers SFMS families an opportunity to make one monetary donation directly to the PTO without the hassle of selling products or collecting pledges, and all the money donated remains at South Forsyth Middle School.  It’s our one and only fundraiser!

Supporting our middle school means more than helping classrooms—it’s about building a thriving community where students, teachers, and families all succeed together. Through the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), parents and educators partner to enhance educational opportunities, fund important programs, and create memorable experiences for our kids. Every contribution of time, talent, or resources helps strengthen our school and ensures that our students have the tools and encouragement they need to grow.
